Job Description

Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse delivers specialized hemodialysis care, patient assessment, and interdisciplinary coordination in high‑acuity inpatient settings. This role supports emergency response readiness, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and patient‑centered renal care to improve treatment outcomes. The position also includes staff supervision, patient education, dialysis documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure safe and continuous care delivery. Conducted comprehensive admissions and ongoing patient assessments for 12–18 inpatients weekly, supporting individualized hemodialysis treatment planning. Delivered acute hemodialysis care, ensuring treatment accuracy, patient stability, and adherence to nephrology protocols. Documented pre‑, intra‑, and post‑treatment dialysis data for 25+ weekly procedures, maintaining 100% medical record accuracy. Coordinated communication between dialysis providers, physicians, and bedside nurses across multiple departments, improving continuity of patient care services. Educated 30+ patients and family members monthly on vascular access care, treatment expectations, and disease prevention to strengthen treatment adherence. Supported infection prevention and emergency response procedures during assigned shifts, reinforcing patient safety and regulatory readiness. Supervised and delegated responsibilities to 6+ direct care staff members daily, reinforcing dialysis techniques, policy adherence, and quality‑focused patient care standards. Results‑driven Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse with 2–5 years of experience in acute dialysis, patient assessment, and clinical documentation within hospital‑based nephrology services.
