Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a retail grocery environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and restricted spaces for policy compliance, access concerns, and/or suspicious activity, while reporting issues through proper channels.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, assisting with investigations, and completing accurate incident and daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or a minimum of 5 or more years of armed security-related experience, is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
