Job Description
Job Title: Assembler / Production Operator
Job Description
This role focuses on building electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and components in an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will perform frequent soldering and cable harnessing, follow detailed engineering documentation, and complete functional tests to ensure each product meets strict quality standards. The position requires accurate data entry into computer systems, adherence to lot traceability and inventory practices, and the ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently once trained.
Responsibilities

Benefits include a 401(k) plan with company matching, a minimum of three weeks of paid time off plus one week of paid sick time to start, and 12 paid holidays each year. You will have access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts, supported by generous company contributions. The company invests in your long-term security through short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and long-term care plan options. You can take advantage of tuition reimbursement to support your professional development, as well as parental leave to help balance work and family responsibilities. Additional perks include prescription safety shoe and glasses benefits, a vanpool subsidy to ease commuting costs, recognition awards, employee referral bonuses, and an Employee Assistance Program that provides confidential support and resources. The culture values recognition, continuous improvement, and supporting employees at every stage of their career.
Work Environment
This position is based in an aerospace manufacturing plant that combines production floor activities with computer-based tasks. You will frequently use your hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, and feel equipment, materials, and computer hardware. The role requires frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus for detailed assembly and inspection work. You will move throughout the facility regularly and may occasionally use steps or ladders as part of your duties. The position involves sitting, standing, and walking for periods ranging from 1 to 10 hours per day, depending on production needs. You must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds and, on a seldom to occasional basis, position yourself to stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend to access equipment or materials.
