This can be a full-time, on-site Staff Accountant, or a part time remote role based in Ocala, FL. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks including maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling month-end and year-end closures, and supporting audits as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Compute and record numerical data
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Perform data entry and administrative duties including auditing raw data

Qualifications:

• Proficiency account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
• Expertise in Excel, and familiarity with AI.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial data, budgeting, and forecasting abilities.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks or other ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Previous experience in accounting
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
