Job Description

Merge is the leading provider of agentic tools and customer-facing integrations for frontier LLMs, Fortune 500 organizations, and B2B SaaS companies. Our platform offers three core products: Merge Unified, which enables businesses to add hundreds of integrations to their products with a single API, Merge Agent Handler, which empowers AI agents with secure access to thousands of third-party tools, and Merge Gateway, the control plane for running AI in production. Merge's enterprise-grade platform handles the entire integration lifecycle, from authentication and security to monitoring and maintenance. Thousands of companies trust Merge to accelerate product development, unblock sales, reduce customer churn, and save engineering resources—allowing them to focus on their core product. We're looking for a Brand Designer to join Merge and help shape a brand that breaks the mold of typical B2B tech. This is your chance to define how our company shows up across every surface: web, events, social, product, and beyond. At Merge, we're building a brand identity rooted in precision, craft, and technical sophistication. We need a designer who gets excited about translating complex API and AI infra concepts into striking, accessible visual stories; someone who can make infrastructure feel inspiring. You'll be designing for an audience of builders: developers, product managers, and technical professionals who value clarity, intelligence, and authenticity over generic aesthetics. If you're drawn to brands that respect their audience's intelligence and push creative boundaries in technical spaces, this role is for you. Responsibilities Drive the evolution of Merge's visual brand identity across all channels: web, print, social media, video, events, and physical touchpoints, ensuring cohesive storytelling and consistency Design and produce high-impact brand assets, including campaigns, product launches, presentations, sales collateral, and event materials Own design projects from conception to completion with autonomy, collaborating closely with marketing and product teams Build and maintain scalable brand design systems with comprehensive frameworks, documentation, and asset libraries Experiment with cutting-edge AI tools and workflows, embracing an AI-first design mindset to push creative boundaries and accelerate production Experience 5+ years of full-time design experience Expert in creating and evolving brand design systems with strong systems thinking and attention to detail Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills Proficient at Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Cinema 4D, Figma, and Webflow Passionate about AI tools and eager to integrate them into your creative process to innovate and accelerate workflows Experienced with motion design (a strong plus). Comfortable defining motion libraries and bringing static designs to life with animation A portfolio that demonstrates conceptual range, sophisticated visual execution, refined typography, and compelling storytelling across digital and physical mediums Thrives on autonomy, collaboration, and soliciting feedback Experience working with technical products and/or developer tools to quickly understand and integrate our product offerings into your designs Excited to grow your skills and career at a dynamic, fast-paced startup that values craft, creativity, and innovation Compensation The cash compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package. Benefits Unlimited PTO + 10 company holidays 100% covered health, vision, and dental insurance 401K Plan $200 one-time home office stipend Free dinner when working past 7pm #J-18808-Ljbffr
