Associate or higher degree from an accredited college or university. NJDOE Educational Services certificate with Educational Interpreter endorsement issued by the state of New Jersey Department of Education, or willingness to work under an emergency certificate while actively pursuing full certification within two years of employment, in accordance with NJDOE regulations. Knowledge and awareness of Deaf culture and the communication needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
