Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Clerk (Data Entry)

Contract-to-Hire | On-Site | Accounting / Finance

SNI Companies is hiring an Entry-Level Accounts Receivable (A/R) Data Entry Clerk for a contract-to-hire position. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated self-starter seeking an entry-level accounting role with long-term growth potential.

This role supports daily accounting operations by accurately processing payments, reconciling cash receipts, and maintaining financial records. No prior A/R experience is required -training is provided for a motivated self-starter eager to begin a career in accounting or finance.

Key Responsibilities - Accounts Receivable / Data Entry

• Accurately enter and process incoming payments, including checks and route collections
• Apply payments for credit card, ACH, and EFT transactions
• Generate receipts and statements while maintaining organized A/R records
• Verify transaction postings and update collections and payment logs
• Track route collections using Deposits in Transit reports
• Reconcile daily cash receipts with bank deposits
• Maintain Cash Receipts books in accordance with internal controls
• Respond to customer payment inquiries and assist with payment research
• Upload invoices to EDI portals
• Enter invoices and service tickets accurately and on time
• Support other accounting and finance departments as needed

Qualifications - Entry-Level Accounting

• Entry-level candidates, recent graduates, and career changers encouraged to apply

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
• Ability to quickly learn new accounting systems and processes
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Dependable, reliable, and eager to grow in an accounting or finance career

Pay & Compensation

• Contract Period: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
• Once Converted: $45,000-$48,000 annually
