Scandale Associated Builders & Engineers, LTD is seeking a detail-driven and self-motivated Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support our construction and real estate operations during an important transition period.

What You'll Do
As our Bookkeeper, you will take ownership of the full accounting cycle across both construction projects and rental properties, including:
Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Process Payroll, Payroll Taxes & Certified Payrolls
Handle AIA Billing and construction-related invoicing
Perform Job Costing and financial tracking per project
Manage Union Benefit Accounting
Oversee Rental Property Accounting & Reconciliations
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is confident, organized, and able to work independently in a relaxed environment.
Strong experience in full-charge bookkeeping or accounting
Knowledge of construction accounting (highly preferred)
Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting
Solid understanding of journal entries and financial statements
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $36,000 - $40,000 (based on experience)
Total Compensation Value: ~$64,000 annually including:
Full Health Insurance (Employee)
15% Profit Sharing (401k contribution)
