POSITION SUMMARY:

Ensure the highest level of resident and guest satisfaction by offering prompt, professional, courteous, and dedicated services. Actively contribute to the department in order to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects. Overall, this position is responsible for and dedicated to providing recognition, satisfaction, and value to the residents and their guests, while continuously improving efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and service standards.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all the daily operations of the Housekeeping (includes Laundry) Department (around 15 people you will oversee), including the cleanliness of all Resident amenities and public areas daily
  • Lead and train housekeeping teams to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
  • Work closely with the Managing Director, Maintenance, Engineering and Front Desk teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Organize work schedules for Attendants to guarantee optimal coverage and smooth property maintenance operations.
  • Efficiently tackling special cleaning requests or issues from other departments, ensuring Resident experience is flawless.
  • Support company and department goals of continuous improvement and learning by attending courses provided by the property.
  • Professionally representing the property during shifts and/or when on property grounds for job-related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A High school diploma or GED is required
  • 4+ years of Housekeeping Leadership experience in Residential or other similar position
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in hospitality or guest services
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment, that are OSHA compliant
  • Applicants should be excellent leaders, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred, but fluent in English is required

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication English skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be available to work 50% of weekends and holidays in the calendar year
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
