Role responsibilities

What you'll do as a Hand Orthopedic Surgeon:

  • Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for foot and ankle conditions, including trauma, sports injuries, deformities, arthritis, and complex reconstructive needs.

  • Perform foot and ankle surgeries, including arthroscopy, fracture management, tendon/ligament repair, ankle replacement, and minimally invasive procedures.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that may include surgical and nonsurgical approaches.

  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound.

  • Collaborate with orthopedic partners, physical therapists, podiatrists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications you'll need:

  • Graduated from an accredited Medical School

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon

  • An active New York Medical License
