Job Description

We’re looking for a Junior Community Manager / Social Media Manager to help manage and grow our online presence across social media, Discord, and live content initiatives. This role is hands-on and active, with daily responsibilities across multiple platforms. This is not a passive position. You’ll be expected to create content, manage communities, moderate conversations, and support events consistently and independently. Core Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing all social media accounts, including: Creating and maintaining a social media content calendar Creating social media content (written, visual, and video) Editing short-form video clips for social platforms Monitoring social media channels and engaging with the community Discord Community Management You will actively manage and support our Discord community, including: Creating and posting Discord-specific content Moderating the Discord server Running and supporting Discord events Identifying and coordinating speakers for Discord events Event, Podcast & Educational Content Support You will assist with ongoing content and live programming, including: Podcast support Virtual conference support Required Skills & Experience 1+ years of experience as a Community Manager 2+ years of experience managing social media professionally Proficient knowledge of Discord Proficient knowledge of YouTube and Twitch moderation Working knowledge of video editing (standard level) Highly self-motivated, reliable, and driven Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Background as a content creator Graphic design experience or working knowledge Unlimited PTO & vacation time Monday–Friday workweek U.S. holidays off (even if you are not based in the United States) Who This Role Is For This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in online communities.
