Job Description

One of Insight Global’s clients is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to support daily production operations in a shop environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‐on work, takes pride in keeping work areas organized, and wants to grow within a manufacturing setting. The Assembler will assist with basic assembly support tasks, material handling, and shop organization while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards.

This is a great opportunity for entry‐level candidates or individuals looking to build experience in manufacturing and production.

Responsibilities

• Support production and assembly operations through hands‐on shop assistance
• Perform basic assembly support tasks as directed by production leadership
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris
• Clean work surfaces and replenish consumable supplies at assembly stations
• Assist with material handling and movement of parts and supplies
• Observe equipment and work areas and report safety or maintenance concerns, including:
• • Damaged or exposed wiring
  • Loose or damaged equipment parts or guards
  • Leaks, spills, or damaged hoses
  • Trip hazards or missing safety signage
• Operate a forklift if licensed
• Follow all quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety requirements
• Perform additional production support tasks as assigned by shop leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assembler, Production Worker, or Manufacturing Helper
• Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing / shop environment
• Willingness to perform hands‐on, physical work throughout the shift
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 lbs (heavier items with assistance or equipment)
• Strong attention to safety and cleanliness
• Reliable and team‐oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience

Work Environment

• Manufacturing / shop floor environment
• Moderately loud noise levels
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and light material handling
