Are you a dynamic, community-focused marketing pro with a passion for supporting small, local businesses? Join the Island Craft Fairs team and be a key player in coordinating vibrant events and markets that bring our community together! With 6 years of experience in organizing everything from food truck events to craft fairs, we’re looking for a motivated and organized individual to drive our growth, connect with vendors, and amplify our presence across the islands. What You’ll Do The Sales and Marketing Manager will be a crucial, hands‑on role focusing on both event promotion and business development. You’ll be the voice and the eyes of Island Craft Fairs, ensuring our events are a massive success for vendors and attendees alike. Marketing & Content Creation Create engaging content: be on‑site at our events to capture high‑quality photos and videos of vendors, winners, and the lively atmosphere, transforming this footage into captivating social media reels and posts for upcoming events. Digital & social strategy: execute weekly social media posts highlighting each participating vendor to build buzz and excitement. Develop compelling slides and reels for paid social media campaigns. Traditional & PR: collaborate with ad agencies to manage weekly print and radio advertising. Event branding: conceptualize and develop engaging themes for our events to enhance the visitor experience. Sales & Business Development Vendor & revenue growth: actively work to find new vendors to participate in our markets. Partnerships & sponsorships: proactively secure valuable sponsorships for our events. Community tie‑ins: identify and secure non‑profit partners whose missions align with the themes and spirit of our events. Event Coordination & Outreach Venue management: assist in scouting and securing future event venues. Coordinate with venues to maximize on‑site advertising and media opportunities. Local outreach: for mall events, conduct pre‑event visits to tenants, inviting them to participate via complimentary space, a pop‑up, or a giveaway donation. Design & production: help with the design of graphics for promotional flyers. Adaptability: embrace other sales and marketing tasks that may arise as we grow. Work Structure & Compensation Initial training period (12 weeks): you’ll start with an hourly wage of $20 per hour. During this time, we will focus on ensuring your full familiarity with our procedures, tasks, and vendors. Transition to salary: upon successful completion of the training period, you will be moved to a committed annual salary equivalent to $3,500 per month. This role requires a minimum commitment of 38.5 hours weekly. Hybrid/on‑site flexibility: must be available to work two days a week in the office (times are negotiable) or be on‑site for flyer/invite distribution. Event availability: it is highly beneficial to the success of the company if you are available to be on‑site for events on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Benefits & Growth Medical & dental: after the probationary period, Island Craft Fairs will cover 50% of your premium for both your HDS dental plan and your medical plan provided through UHA, HMSA, or Kaiser, contingent on working the minimum weekly hours and being on payroll. Annual review: employee performance evaluations are conducted annually following the probationary period. Based on your contributions, there is a chance for promotion, a pay increase, bonuses, or all of the above. #J-18808-Ljbffr
