Overview The Common Lives Initiative – Real World Activity Data Collection for AI Research. We are seeking experienced musicians to participate in a groundbreaking research project that will contribute to next-generation AI development in skilled trades. What You'll Do Duration: 2 weeks total commitment (choose any 5 days within the period) Time: Approximately 7 hours per day of recording 3-4 hours during your regular musician work Equipment: We provide a small, lightweight head-mounted GoPro camera Flexibility: Take breaks anytime – camera can be turned off for privacy as needed Participation Options: Household participation (you and one other adult household member) can both participate Data Control & Privacy Full control: Review all footage before submission Your choice: Anonymize, edit, or delete any content before use Secure upload: Daily footage uploaded through our secure platform Complete training: Full support and training provided for all technical aspects Requirements Professional Requirements Active musician with hands-on, physical work (minimal screen time) Employer consent required (if not self-employed) Comfortable being recorded during normal work activities Personal Requirements Language: Comfortable communicating in your preferred language (English or native language) Technology: Access to computer and reliable internet for uploading footage Household: All household members must be 18 years or older (no minors in residence) Consent Requirements Written consent from all household members Why Participate?
