Position: Oral English Foreign Teacher (Summer
Camp)
1. Work Location
Nanhui District, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China (on-campus teaching)
2. Working Schedule
Camp Periods (two separate sessions): • Session 1: July 19 – July 26
• Session 2: August 1 – August 8
Daily Teaching Arrangement: • 2 classes per day
• 2 hours per class
• 6 official teaching days per session (fixed standard for salary calculation)
3. Salary & Income Specification
• Class salary rate: RMB 500 per teaching class
• Fixed total salary per session: RMB 6,000
• Salary calculation formula: 500 RMB/class × 2 classes/day × 6 teaching days = 6,000 RMB/session
• Only formal teaching classes are paid. All camp activities, judging duties, field
trips and closing ceremony arrangements are unpaid. 4. Welfare Benefits
4.1 Accommodation
• Free on-campus accommodation: A fully furnished shared 3-bedroom
apartment is provided free of charge throughout each camp session. • Early check-in allowed: Teachers may check in one day prior to camp
commencement for free. • Independent accommodation policy: Teachers who decline the provided
shared on-campus apartment and arrange single accommodation independently will
be charged a self-paid fee of RMB 200 per day. 4.2 Meals
• Three complimentary daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are provided on
campus during the working period. 5. Working Rules & Obligations
• Mandatory Unpaid Judging Duty: Each camp session includes one 2-hour
official camp activity. Foreign teachers are required to attend and serve as activity
judges. This duty is mandatory and unpaid. • Field Trip & Closing Arrangement: The final two days of each session are scheduled for student field trips and the camp closing ceremony. Teachers have two
optional arrangements: ￮ Option 1: Voluntarily participate in all activities, with free on-campus meals and accommodation provided (no additional compensation). ￮ Option 2: Leave campus upon completion of all scheduled teaching tasks and return punctually for the subsequent camp session. • Free Time & Curfew Regulation: Teachers are permitted to arrange personal free time after finishing daily teaching tasks, excluding mandatory official activity. All
teachers must return to the on-campus apartment before 22:00 daily. • Alcohol Prohibition Rule: The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited at all times during the entire summer camp working period.
