Farmers Table is looking to hire an experienced pastry sous chef to assist in all aspects of the daily restaurant production. We are a scratch bakery using organic ingredients. All dessert products are made in house.Responsibilities to include:Create and prepare all pastry items needed for service, including cakes, fillings, scones, sauces, ice creams and banquet productionPlating of dessertsCarefully follows exact recipesResponsible for weekly bakery inventory and rotating food supplies on handMaintains clean and sanitary bakeryCovers all plating shifts as needed for call outs and vacationsQualificationsMinimum 2 years in pastry kitchenCulinary degree in PastryKnowledge of high volume or banquet serviceBe able to work in pressurized environment and remain calmRequirementsBe able to work 10 hour shiftsAble to lift 50LBMust be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.Punctual and disciplined to maintain optimal work enviromentAble to follow instructions and recipes accuratelyConfident in pastry techniques and skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
