Job Overview Join Our Team as a Payroll Specialist – Elevate Payroll Precision and Compliance! Are you a detail‑oriented payroll professional with a passion for accuracy and compliance? We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to manage the full‑cycle payroll process for a dynamic, multi‑state workforce. The role is pivotal in ensuring timely, precise employee payments while adhering to complex federal, state, and local regulations. Compensation & Schedule Hybrid schedule in North Canton: 2 days WFH per week, beginning after a 3‑month training period. $27/hour–$29/hour plus profit‑sharing based on company performance. Stable, consistent hours in a growing organization. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of payroll processing experience, supporting exempt and non‑exempt employees. Proven expertise in multi‑state payroll, ensuring compliance across diverse jurisdictions. Hands‑on experience with payroll systems, especially Dayforce (preferred). Solid intermediate Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data reconciliation). Ability to conduct payroll audits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality. Strong communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with HR and Finance teams. Experience with payroll system upgrades, implementations, or process improvements is nice to have. Other Requirements Ability to work hybrid schedule, first 3 months onsite then three days per week after training. Flexibility to support various payroll cycles (weekly, biweekly, semi‑monthly).
