NOW HIRING: PICKERS (FORKLIFT OPERATOR/UNLOADER) – NEWPORT NEWS, VA – $18.00/HOUR

The Lee Group is seeking reliable and hardworking Pickers (Forklift Operator/Unloader) to support a fast-paced warehouse team in Newport News, VA. If you’re physically fit, detail-oriented, and have experience in a warehouse environment, this is your opportunity to join a company that values efficiency and teamwork. Forklift experience is a plus!

Pay: $18.00/hour

Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

What You’ll Be Doing as a Picker (Forklift Operator/Unloader):

• Unload inbound shipments efficiently and safely
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move products to proper storage locations
• Break down and sort pallets as needed
• Check incoming shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized unloading zones
• Use RF scanners to update inventory systems
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
• Assist team members and contribute to overall productivity

What We’re Looking For in a Picker (Forklift Operator/Unloader):

• Prior experience in unloading, receiving, or warehouse operations
• 1-2 years forklift experience required
• Basic computer skills for order and inventory tracking
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment

Physical Requirements of Picker (Forklift Operator/Unloader):

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
• Good coordination and ability to navigate around moving equipment and vehicles
