Job Opportunity At Anchor-Ventana Glass

Anchor-Ventana Glass is a fast paced, well established, commercial and residential glass and glazing company that has been in business for over 40 years. We are one of the larger glass and glazing contractors serving major general contractors in the central Texas/Austin area. We are looking to hire individuals that are interested in learning the residential side of the trade. In order to be eligible for this position, you MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND HAVE BEEN LICENSED TO DRIVE FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS. Experience with fabrication and/or installation preferred, but not required. Previous construction experience is a plus. You will be trained on how to install and fabricate showers, mirrors and all residential glass products in accordance with company installation standards.

Education/Requirements:

• Must have a clean driving record and have been licensed for a minimum of 5 years.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background screening.
• Glazing/Glass handling experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.

Hours:

Normal Business Hours are Monday thru Friday 6:30 am – 3:30 pm. Hours are subject to business needs, must be flexible. Occasional Saturdays from 7 am to 1 pm as needed.
