At European Wax Center Arroyo Grande, we are looking to expand our leadership with a superstar who is friendly, well-spoken, detail-oriented, and conscientious, that will maintain and expand on performance expectations.

The Designated Manager drives the sales strategy by hiring, training, and coaching the team daily to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest.

Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, and supervise Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists in customer service, sales, and quality of service
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing daily feedback to the team
• Foster an inspiring, high-performance culture where people love to come to work
• Build the business through effective scheduling
• Proactively de-escalate any guest issues and coach the team on service recovery opportunities
• Assess business analytics and drive key performance metrics through action planning and leveraging team strengths
• Complete administrative tasks (payroll, inventory, compliance) accurately and on time
• Maintain outstanding cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
• Perform additional management duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to work 37+ hours a week (full-time role)
• Management experience in sales and/or the beauty industry preferred
• Strong organizational, task management, and delegation skills
• Demonstrated sales experience in a commission-based setting
• Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions
• Ability to drive results through others
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
