Position Overview

VITRONIC Machine Vision is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects within our traffic safety and logistics solutions portfolios. In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring that all projects meet strategic objectives, remain on schedule, and adhere to budgetary and quality standards. You will act as a senior liaison between application engineers, customers, and both operations and executive leadership, driving successful project execution and fostering long-term customer relationships.

The Senior Project Manager reports to the Director of Project Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing senior-level guidance and maintaining effective communication.
• Develop, implement, and enforce robust project management processes, tools, and reporting to optimize efficiency and project outcomes.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
• Manage resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments for multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee the creation and delivery of project documentation, training materials, and user manuals to ensure smooth implementation and customer adoption.
• Facilitate change management and scope adjustments, evaluating impacts on project cost, schedule, and quality, and communicating them to leadership and customers.
• Ensure seamless transition of fully functional program to operations team for ongoing traffic safety solution.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned, identify areas for improvement, and ensure continuous process improvement.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion with existing customers.
• Drive customer satisfaction during and after project completion, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion with measurable success.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams of varying sizes.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to facilitate harmonious business relationships across functions and at all levels.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and corporate office as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with logistics, traffic safety, or technology-driven solutions.
