Job Description

Point Quest Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our Education, Training & E-Learning department within the Educational Services industry. In this role, you will provide highly individualized instruction and behavioral support to students with diverse learning, developmental, and behavioral needs. Drawing on evidence-based practices, you will design and deliver specialized lessons, interventions, and supports that promote academic growth, functional skills, and independence. As a Special Education Teacher with Point Quest Group, you will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), conduct ongoing assessments, and use data-driven decision-making to monitor progress and adjust instruction. You will collaborate closely with related service providers, behavior specialists, general education teachers, and families to ensure that each student’s unique needs are understood and addressed. Your work will include adapting curriculum and instructional materials, implementing positive behavior support plans, and creating a structured, engaging classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn. You will also serve as a key communication link between the school, families, and outside providers, maintaining clear and professional documentation and regularly updating parents and caregivers on student progress.
