Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Summer School Teacher who is committed to our diversity, equity, and inclusion mission: Cultivating a community where all members experience a sense of belonging. Dates: July 13 - July 30 (M-R, 12 days)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM (depending on the number of sessions taught)
Building: High School
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement engaging and innovative lesson plans that align with NYS State standards and District curriculum, considering the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students;
Create a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels respected and supported;
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds;
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and well-being; and
Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills.
