Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Greensboro, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown setting at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required
Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in hand at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility; current driver's license required to verify address
No open background check cases permitted; active license must be in hand at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with peripheral line care and management as well as PICC line management
Familiarity with titrating drips in an intermediate or step-down care environment
Ability to adapt to floating assignments across multiple campus locations
