Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in NICU
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission; compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with no pending renewals
• No open background check cases; facility does not accept any license hits
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the NICU specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of NICU experience within a single location
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment practices
