Construction Project Superintendent position is responsible for scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects. Construction Project Superintendentposition performs quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work and communicates with the project team about RFIs and Submittals. Successful candidate must be willing to travel within Florida and southeastern states. Responsibilities Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work. Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions. Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety and quality standards. Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution. Maintain a complete daily log of activities on the job site, including photographs. Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team. Walk the whole of the project daily or with more frequency to monitor activities and identify and make safe potential hazards to the public. Schedule and attend weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work. Communicate issues of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling. Ensure that the job site is always kept clean and organized. Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction with retail experience. Proficiency in jobsite safety and subcontractor management. Ability to read plans and specifications. Experience using Microsoft Office, Autodesk Build, and Bluebeam. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school education or equivalent. Basic computer skills for entering time and communication by email. Preferred: Successfully completed OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour courses. Work Environment This is a site-based role for projects in Southeastern states. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, encouraging teamwork, with an opportunity for advancement. Projects are assigned to teams to allow mentorship and collaboration with the main office, which is located in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
