Saint Alphonsus Medical Group - International Clinic provides a special focus on the medical needs of families and individuals who have resettled in our community through refugee resettlement and other forms of immigration. The International Clinic strives to provide respectful, trauma informed, culturally responsive and equitable care for all families in the Treasure Valley. The clinic serves a diverse group of patients who have come from around the globe. The clinic utilizes several programs to help reduce current barriers to care, such as home visits, partnership with the Saint Alphonsus CARE Clinic (ObGyn), Saint Alphonsus Community Interpreter services and numerous other community agencies. Our providers are passionate about providing equitable care and are committed to increasing the quality and access to medical services for vulnerable patient populations. As part of serving our communitys newly arriving families, as evidenced by the number of aforementioned programs it utilizes to deliver excellent care, the clinic provides an integrative model of care to address barriers to accessing equitable healthcare. This includes the providers working closely with interpreters, social workers, health advisors and resettlement agencies to increase continuity among these patient populations.
